Natural Alternatives to Treat Bad Breath

Bad Breath Home Remedies

Treat bad breath using parsley.

Parsley - Parsley has always been a well known favorite remedy for treating bad breath. When you have bad breath just chew on parsley and it takes it away instantly. Restaurants place it on your plates all the time. This is to chew once you've finished your meal.

Mouthwash - Mix 100ml water with 100ml of peroxide. Add a pinch of salt and a pinch of baking soda. You can add essential oils or flavors if you wish like peppermint but it's not necessary. First use a tongue scraper or you can even just use your toothbrush to clean your tongue then gargle and rince your mouth out with the mouthwash you have just made. Use this each day or when needed.

Hydrogen Peroxide - I have used so many method's to try and get rid of my bad breath but nothing had worked until I tried straight 3% hydrogen peroxide. I just used it each day as a mouthwash. I can't tell you how happy I am with the results.

Treat bad breath using mint leaves.

Mint Leaves - This remedy was given to me by an Australian friend of mine. She told me just to chew on fresh mint leaves. She has a patch of garden just near her front stairs and each time she went out she's take a few leaves on her way down and chew on.

Papaya - Cut up a papaya (paw paw) into bite size pieces and eat 2 bowels of this daily. Papaya cleanses your stomach which reduces bad breath.

Treat bad breath using cloves.

Cloves - Simply chew on cloves when you feel you have bad breath.

Baking Soda - We all know that putting baking soda in our fridges will eat up the odors. Same goes with our mouth. Put some baking soda into your hand. Wet your toothbrush and dip it into the soda. Then brush your teeth. After you brush with the soda then brush with your regular toothpaste.

Treat bad breath using sunflower seeds.

Sunflower Seeds - Each day chew on a handful of sunflower seeds. After you finished drink a glass of water.

Fresh Lemon - When you suffer from bad breath use freshly squeezed lemon juice as a mouthwash. I find it really helps to freshen your breath.

Hint - Put some tea tree oil into your floss container making sure all the floss gets soaked in the tea tree oil. Use this to floss when you need to. You can also put 2 drops of tea tree oil on your toothbrush with your toothpaste before brushing.
