Cucumber-
grate a cucumber and apply to the area under the eyes to take
away the dark circles that form from tiredness. |

Aspirin
- Aspirin thins the blood which
is why it is a good remedy for a black eye. Because a black
eye has blood sitting in the fat tissues around the eye the
aspirin will thin that blood taking away the discoloration.
Simply rub the aspirin on the darkened area but be sure not
to get it in the eye itself.

Potato -
For those of you who keep their potatoes in the fridge this
is a good remedy for a black or bruised eyes. Peel the potato
and cut a round slice just under half a cm thick. Lay down for
half an hour with a slice of cold potato over your eyes. This
works great. |

Ice
Pack - As soon as your eyes
become black place an ice pack on it for 10 minutes then off
for 5 minutes and on again for another 10 minute's. Do this
for half hour.
If you don't have an ice pack you can put ice cubes into a
bag. It will work just as well.

Caster Oil -
To reduce the swelling of a black eye rub some caster oil into
the swollen discolored parts. Work's great. |

Frozen
Peas - Right after the injury
occurs put a whole bag of frozen peas on the eye. This will
help to reduce the swelling. The sooner you can get it on
the better the results.
