Treat dandruff
using baby shampoo - First wash your hair with baby
shampoo. This cleans the scalp with a pH solution instead
of the acid like substance which is found in most shampoo's
and body washers. Now apply Neutrogena light body oil. Any
brand will be fine but we use Neutrogena as they are the
biggest marketer of this product worldwide. Let the oil
soak in for about an hour. Then simply wash your hair again
with the baby shampoo.

Treat dandruff using olive oil - This remedy should
be done at night. Mix together 1 tablespoon of olive oil and
1 teaspoon of lime juice. Apply it all onto the hair and massage
into the scalp. Tie either an old scarf or cloth of any kind
around your head. Shampoo the following morning. |

|
Treat dandruff
using listerine - saturate your hair with listerine.
Leave it on for about 10 then wash and condition your hair
as normal. Just make sure you completely wash all the shampoo
and conditioner out of your hair. You will know when it's
all out when your hair squeaks if you run it through your
hands.

|
Treat dandruff using aloe vera - For this remedy if
you have aloe vera growing in your garden go and get about
3 stalks. Split the center lengthwise and scrape out all the
gel. If you don't have an aloe vera plant you can buy aloe
vera gel from the health food store. Rub the gel into your
scalp. Leave it on for at least half an hour then wash your
hair with Palmolive naturals aloe vera shampoo. Your dandruff
will be gone right away. |

Treat dandruff
using preparation H - Simply massage some preparation
H ointment into your hair and scalp. You will notice your
dandruff clearing up within a week.

|
Treat dandruff using vinegar - A friend of mine had
really bad, thick dandruff. She tried all the natural remedies
she found online and nothing seemed to work, so she tried
her own remedy. All she did was soak her hair and scalp
with vinegar, wrapped up her hair and the next morning washed
it as usual. All the dandruff was gone. She said it did
sting a little but if it stings you know it's working.

Treat
dandruff using curd - This is one of the easiest remedies
for treating dandruff. Simply rub curd into your hair and
scalp and leave on for half an hour. Then wash and dry the
hair.
|
|
Treat dandruff using baking soda - Mix about 1 teaspoon
of baking soda to your shampoo and rub into your hair and
scalp. Leave it on for half an hour or more if you have
the time. Maybe do this remedy at night so it can be on
for longer. If it is not stinging a wee bit the remedy is
not working. Try adding a bit more baking soda.

Treat
dandruff using aspirin - This remedy was suggested by
a barber after I tried all the dandruff shampoo's on the
supermarket shelf. Crush two aspirin's into the normal amount
of shampoo you would normally wash your hair with. Leave
it on for 20 minutes then rinse your hair. Wash your hair
with natural shampoo to make sure all the aspirin is out.
I swear by this remedy..
