Treat diaper
rash using corn starch - First apply a thin layer of
mylanta, the mylanta in the turquoise bottle. Then put the
corn starch on top of that. This will help with the babies
rash. A country doctor recommended this remedy. It easily
just washes off with water.

|
Treat diaper rash using egg whites - This remedy calls
for egg whites. Simply crack open 3 or 4 eggs and remove the
yolks. Apply the egg whites over the rash and put the babies
diaper on. The rash should be nearly all gone by the next
change. |

|
Treat diaper
rash using lard - I was laughed at quite often when
my boys were little and I used pure cooking lard on the
affected area caused by nappy rash. The rash was gone within
24 hours.
We had unbelievable results simply by putting lard on the
rash.

| Treat diaper
rash using fresh air - The best thing for diaper rash
is fresh air. Let your baby be without a diaper for awhile.
During his or her next nap just lay a cloth diaper underneath,
make sure you keep checking and if the diaper gets wet replace
it with a dry one. |
|
Treat diaper rash using tea bags - Place 3 or 4 teabags
into the diaper at diaper change. When the baby pee's the
tea bags release a certain chemical that helps in the healing
of diaper rash. It may turn your babies bottom brown but the
rash will be gone within 24 hours. |

|
Treat diaper
rash using oatmeal - Before bathing your baby put some
oatmeal in the water and stir in. This remedy works wonders
and is a healthy alternative for diaper rash.
|
|
Treat diaper rash using baking soda - Put two tablespoons
of baking soda into the babies bath water. Mix it in until
it is all dissolved. Soak your babies bottom in it for at
least 10 minutes every day. This remedy works great. |

|
Treat diaper
rash using milk of magnesia - With each diaper change
pour milk of magnesia onto the rash. This remedy works real
quick and you should notice significant difference with
the next diaper change.
|
|
Treat diaper rash using vegetable oil - A pediatrician
gave me this remedy when my eldest boy suffered from really
bad diaper rash to the point of blistering and bleeding. First
give your baby a bath and make sure the diaper area is completely
dry. Rub plain vegetable oil in both your hands and rub into
the babies bottom. Do this with each diaper change. |
|

|
Treat diaper
rash using cod liver oil capsules - I swear by this
remedy for diaper rash. Cut the tip off about 4 cod liver
oil capsules and pour the oil onto your babies rash and
rub it in. If the rash is only small you may need to only
use 1 or 2 capsules. I always suggest this method to all
my friends and family.

Remedy
I am a
nurse and learned of this from a patient's mother. Put plain all
purpose flour in a skillet on medium - medium high heat and brown
the flour. No moisture is added - just stir the dry flour about
gently untill it begins to smell like it is scorched and turns a
light brown color. Cool the flour and I like to put it in a small
container to dust on an irritated (baby's) bottom. I have seen it
work on bottoms that were broken down and bleeding -looked like
a cheese grater had been taken to them! It worked when other "medical"
treatments were failing. Good luck!
