Stop Itch Spray - This recipe is for making a home made
spray that you can spray on to stop an itch. Mix together 40ml
of baby oil, 30ml of emu oil, 20ml of vitamin E oil (can be
used from cutting open vitamin E caplets) and 10ml of evening
primrose oil. Put it into a spray bottle and have it handy to
stop that irritating itch. |

Treat itching
using Vaseline - This remedy will relieve your itching
immediately. Coat the area where it itch is with petroleum
jelly (Vaseline) and then put some baby powder over the top.
You may look a bit funny but it's guaranteed to stop the itch.

Treat itching using water - When you or a member of your
family get an irritating itch hold the area under hot running
water. As hot as you can stand without burning yourself. This
will relieve the itch right away.. |

Treat itching
using vicks vaporub - Wash the area where the itch is
with cold water. Then apply a small amount of vicks vaporub.
It will stop the itch right away.

Treat itching with oatmeal - This remedy is good for
all types of itching including chicken pox. It is especially
good to stop the little ones from itching. Put 1 or 2 cups of
oatmeal into a warm tub and lay in it. It's that simple. |

Treat an
itch using Hydrogen Peroxide - This remedy is for an inner
ear itch. Tilt your head and fill your ear canal with 3% Hydrogen
Peroxide (3%). Move your ear lobe around making sure it all
settles in your ear. Leave it in there for at least a whole
minute or 2 is even better. You will hear lots of bubbles
in activity in the ear but that is nothing to be alarmed about.
Now let it drain out and let it dry on it's own. Now repeat
with the other side. This is also excellent for when you have
a cold or flu.

Treat itching using bleach - This remedy is good for
insect bites or poison ivy. Add half a cup of bleach to a
warm bath and soak in it for half an hour.

Treat
itching using tea tree oil - When you have an itch you
just can't get rid of apply tea tree oil to where the itch
is. My
mother used to use this on me when I was little and now I
use it on my own children. It gets rid of the itch immediately.

Treat itching using baking soda - To a warm bath add
5 tablespoons of baking soda and half a cup of lemon juice.
You could also make this a spray application by adding about
1 tablespoon of baking soda and some lemon juice to a cup
of water and putting it into a spray bottle.

Treat
itching using vinegar - Add half a cup of white vinegar
to your bath water and soak for 5 minutes.
