Mosquito bites Home Remedies

Treat mosquito bites using garlic.

Treat mosquito bites using garlic - Take a knob off the garlic and cut in half. Rub the garlic onto the mosquito bites. You should notice immediate relief from the itching. This is a great remedy for young children if they get bitten. But the best remedy of all is still prevention.

Treat mosquito bites using the following remedies - use any of the following to help the itch of a mosquito bite. Aloe vera, neem fruit juice, lime juice or lemon juice. Use the flesh of the aloe vera, squeeze the juice from the lime, lemon or neem fruit and simply apply to the bites.

Treat mosquito bites using calamine lotion.

Treat mosquito bites using calamine lotion - Putting calamine lotion on the mosquito bite will help them from itching. This is good for smaller children who don't understand the concept of NO Scratching. I use calamine lotion on my children if the dreaded mosquito attacks them.

Treat mosquito bites using baking soda - Mix enough baking soda with plane water to make a paste consistency. Rub the paste over the mosquito bites. This will help the itch. It works like calamine lotion.

Treat mosquito bites using apple cider vinegar. Pour a bit onto a cotton ball and rub it on the bite. It usually stops the itch quickly. Wait a few minutes, really red and swollen bites may take 2 or 3 applications, but it is fast, natural and works, even for the 'unbelievers' who have tried it.
