Sit
Up - Sitting up can reduce swelling and start the eustachian
tubes draining. Swallowing will also help reduce the pain.
It is good to have your head proped up with extra pillows
at night so when you are asleep you will get better drainage. |

Oil - Place a bottle of baby oil in bowl of lukewarm water.
Let it stand untill the baby oil is the same temerature as
the water. Use one or two drops in the affected ear. NOTE:
You must never put fluids in the ear if you think the eardrum
is ruptured. |

Yawning moves the muscle that opens the eustachian tube even
better than chewing gum. |

Chew
Gum - Most people know this remedy to open their ears
while in flight. This will also work for an ear ache. The
muscular actions helps to open the eustachian tubes, allowing
it to drain. |

Hold
your nose - Squeeze your nostrils together so they are
closed and no air can escape. Take a mouthfull of air and
blow as if you were trying to blow off your fingers holding
your nose. You will feel a pop. This tells you that you
have equalized the pressure inside and outside the ear.

took a galic then cut a small cube just big enough to fit inside
my ear. First i felt a burning sensation. Three minutes later my
earache felt 80% better. I thought it was an old mexican myth but
it really works.

small
bowl, or baby food jar with olive oil, a crushed garlic blub, and
a few drops of GSE (grapefruit Seed Extract). Mix, and heat a little
past room temp. 2-3 drops in ear twice a day. The pain goes away IMMEDIATELY
but keep treating for a couple days. Might be good to take something
for you immune systems at the same time. I put 15 drops for an adult
and 3 dropds for a child of GSE and 5 drops echinacea in water (yuck)
and drink twice a day (using it as an anitbiotic.)

1-3 drops warmed garlic oil in each ear twice per day and it clears
it up!!

Remedy
Take two
bulbs of peeled, chopped garlic, pinch marigold leaves, pinch mullein
flowers simmer over low heat with 1/4 cup high quality oil (I like
to use part olive oil part sweet almond oil). Simmer 10-15 min.
Store in refrigerator, warm oil slightly before using. One to two
drops in the affected ear every two hours or as needed.
