At
first sign of a headache or migraine place an ice pack on the
top of the head or the forehead. |

you are suffering from a tension headache apply a heat pad to
the neck. The heat will relieve the muscles from tightening.
Alternatively you can take a hot bath. |

| Massage can also
relieve a headache or migraine. Using a circular motion, massage
the muscles in the neck, scalp and temples with your fingertips.

Feverfew and Ginkgo
reduces migraines and vascular headaches. The leaves of the
Feverfew contain parthenolide, which inhibits the production
of substances that dilate blood vessels and cause inflammation.
Ginkgo also relieves ringing in the ear, and dizziness often
associated with headaches. Feverfew and Ginkgo are available
at health food stores. |
| Ginger is good
for relaxing blood vessels in the head and reduces swelling
in the brain. Ginger tablets are available at health food stores
or alternatively it can be taken in tea. |

Aromatherapy
acts as a good relaxant to relieve stress and pain. In addition to
inhaling the aroma's of essential oils, they can also be used to massage
across the forehead, temples, behind the ears and the muscles in the
back of the neck.

Cinnamon - reduces stress, loosens tight muscles
Lavender - reduces pain, relaxes
Lime Essence - reduces anxiety

Dip a strip
of a brown paper bag into apple cider vinegar and let it soak about
a minute. Lay down and put it on your forehead and it'll be gone
in as little as 8 minutes!! As weird as it may sound, it works.

Pound some
fresh ginger in the juice of one lemon. Add some rock salt to the
pounded ginger. Take this mixture in your mouth and allow the juices
to be slowly mixed into the saliva and to your system.... your headache
will go away in no time.

All i do
when i have a migrane or head ache is press one thumb on to the fleshy
part on your other hand under the opposite thumb.

Drinking pickle
juice works for me when I get headaches. I don't know why or how
it works but it always works for me. I told my dad about it and
it works for him too!

Remedy
slice a lime
wedge (preferbly chilled) and rub the pulp of lime wedge over your
forehead until the pain subsides. Works every time!
